Hey all.
We have a reocurring flea problem with our two house cats.
Long story short, one of our cats got out and was missing for a few days before we found him. We gave him and his sister kill tablets and applied repellent 2 days later. We also treat the bedding.
2 Weeks later we repeated the bedding treatment and kill tablet to deal with any eggs.
They seemed flea free, then a month later they were back. So we repeated the process (kill tablet, bedding treatment, and used a treatment around the home paying attention to areas they hang out and dark corners. We repeated this 3 times every week.
We've also vacuumed vigorously and emptied the vacuum each time.
Again, seemed flea free and now a couple of weeks after we thought we got rid of them, there is another.
We're at a loss as to where they are coming from, or whether we arent running the treatments long enough for hatching cycles, or whether there might be some place in the home where they have set in.
Anyone had experience with a problem that seems to keep returning, and have any advice?
