Hey guys!!
Anyone recently got married or engaged? What do you think is the classiest canapes to have at your wedding reception, do you think it is better to have canapes or full meals. I for one think non traditional canapes are more classy. Give your guest light food to eat not heavy food. Also, I would only have the finest quality champagne, sparkling wines, bubbles and wines at my reception. No spirits or beers. I would prefer a very posh high end wedding reception. Who agrees with me or who feels otherwise? Feel free to post pictures in the reply.

I agree, don't think people should have heavy foods at weddings, canopies are a great choice and can be quite satisfying with the right selection

I'm going to be contrarian, I prefer good but interesting food. I think I enjoyed the Mexican weddings I've attended where they serve spruced up versions of home foods than fine dining stuff here.

Obviously fine dining and elegance has its place and makes sense, but I've always found the food more enjoyable. But then, British home foods arent exactly exciting and are heavy so might be harder here.
